Taking a serious note of the under-performance in development programmes like - MNREGA, PMGSY, rural potable water among others in the current fiscal, Akhilesh sought the clarification from District Magistrates and Chief Development Officers of 10 districts, an official spokesman here said.
The clarification has been sought from senior officers posted at Hamirpur, Faizabad, Rae Bareli, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Siddharthnagar, Kanpur, Lalitpur and Jalaun, he said.
The chief minister has warned that laxity at any level in implementation of development programmes and schemes would not be excused.
