Alekh Rout appointed as ED of BoM

State-run Bank of Maharashtra today said Alekh C Rout has been appointed as the executive director for a period of three years starting March 31, 2017.
Prior to this, he served as the chief general manager of commercial banking in the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur.
Infosys to announce Q4 results on Apr 13
* Country's second largest software services firm Infosys will announce its financial results for the fourth quarter on April 13, 2017.
"Infosys will announce the results for its fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017 on Thursday, April 13, 2017," it said in a BSE filing.
Its competitor Tata Consultancy Services is scheduled to announce its numbers on April 18, while Wipro is slated to announce its financial results on April 25.

Koovs clocks 87% jump in FY17 sales to GBP 18.6 mn * UK-based online fashion player Koovs plc today said its sales grew 87 per cent to GBP 18.6 million (about Rs 162 crore) for the year ended March 31, 2017.
"Koovs' strategy continues to deliver significant growth with sales (includes taxes, does not represent revenue of the Group) up by 87 per cent to GBP 18.6 million for the full year to 31 March 2017, underpinned by a year-on-year 100 per cent increase in both units shipped and repeat customers," it said in a statement.
It added that its gross margin position has improved by improving intake margin and controlling the level of discounts given, and expects to generate positive gross margins in FY18.
"Koovs' distinctive fashion proposition is really working with our young target market in India. Engagement with our young customer is delivering strong growth and we continue to significantly outperform by five-times the e-commerce sector growth in India," Koovs CEO Mary Turner said.
