The 23-year-old actress took to Twitter to share a video which shows Madhuri helping the young stars figure out the moves of the song.
"How to do this tamma step Thank you @MadhuriDixit for saving the day @Varun_dvn #TammaTammaAgain," wrote Alia.
Varun retweeted Alia's post by saying, "Your a good student Ally. You've kicked my ass in this song as well."
Producer Karan Johar also thanked Madhuri for her support by posting a clip where one can see Madhuri giving a two-day countdown to the song from the upcoming film.
Madhuri had starred in "Thaanedaar" in 1990, alongwith Sanjay Dutt and the duo had performed on the song which turned out be a chartbuster.
