Almond rises on stockists buying

Almond california prices rose by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today on fresh buying support from retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Almond (California) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 17,300-17,500 per 40 kg. Its kernel prices also went up by Rs 10 to settle at Rs 635-640 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said rising demand from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly attributed the rise in almond and its kernel prices at the wholesale dryfruit market here.
