Named 'Halke Vich Captain' (Captain in Assembly constituency), the former Punjab Chief Minister will hear the grievances of the locals as he aims to reach out to two crore people through the campaign planned by poll strategist Prashant Kishor's team I-PAC.
"Halke Vich Captain is a citizen engagement initiative by Amarinder Singh through which he aims to establish a direct contact with various stakeholders in each of Punjab's 117 Assembly constituencies," said a release issued by I-PAC.
In a direct bid to challenge the incumbent SAD-BJP government in the state, 'Halke Vich Captain' will kick off from Jalalabad, the constituency of Deputy Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal tomorrow.
A process for submission of grievances will also be set up under the campaign. The grievances submitted will be resolved within the first 100 days of Congress forming the government in Punjab, the release added.
