The actor announced the news about his return on the show via Instagram.
"#Sucre is back with the gang! Buckle up! Looking forward to seeing my brothers again," he wrote.
Lead star Wentworth Miller, who apparently died in the finale of the show, is returning so are Dominic Purcell, and Sarah Wayne Callies in the limited series, which is scheduled to start shooting next month, reported the Entertainment Weekly.
Fox TV co-chair and CEO Dana Walden told reporters in January the new Prison Break "unravels on an international landscape, it's not a domestic show. I'm hoping we'll see many of the great characters... Return throughout the season. It has all the twists and turns you've come to expect from that show.
