Congress President Sonia Gandhi condemned as "dastardly and cowardly" the militants' attack over an army convoy in Manipur leading to the death and injury of several armymen.
Gandhi hoped "the killers of the vanguards of our national integrity will be brought to the book at the earliest."
Extending her condolences to the family members of the martyrs, she said Congress party, like the entire nation, stood indebted to the brave sons of India.
