Skills around science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and data dominated the Indian landscape, particularly those relating to data storage, retrieval and analysis as organisations across a broad range of industries seek to harness the benefits of big data, LinkedIn said in a statement.
Skills in cloud and distributed computing, PR and communications and network and information security also featured among the top 10 list.
LinkedIn analysed the skills and experience data of its over 332 million members worldwide, including more than 28 million members in India.
Other skills sought by employers in India were economics, mobile development, digital and online marketing, game development and market research and insights.
