The 41-year-old actress, who is working on film in Cambodia, was filming scenes that required hundreds of children, reported People magazine.
"I'm surrounded by toys. We have 250 children in a scene, so I filled the house, my car, my trailer with toys. It's my 'I love babies' fix," she said.
"They have to go through a labour camp.They have to cry and scream. My instinct is to want to cut and hug everyone."
The actress-director has six children with her husband Brad Pitt - Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7.
Pax, the second oldest, has even started working on her sets, Jolie said.
