Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor turned show stopper for designer Ashish N Soni for the grand finale of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
The actor looked dapper in a white shirt paired with a dinner jacket as he sashayed down the ramp, a bright red multilevel stage set reminiscent of an Opera theatre.
"This might come as a surprise but much before I became an actor, I modelled. I had walked down the ramp for late Mr Dhirubai Ambani for a travel show... And later became an actor," Anil said.
The monochrome collection titled 'La Dolce Vita' saw peplum dresses, polka dot shirt and trousers, flared skirts, jackets, short satin dresses, trench coats, ball gowns, dinner jackets and tuxedos.
The fabrics used by Ashish were mostly satin and silk.
"I was super excited about doing the finale. I hope it went well and with Mr Kapoor walking the ramp, it couldn't have been better," Ashish said.
The models walked down the stairs set on the ramp to live singing and music by a jazz band.
'La Dolce Vita', in English means 'The Sweet Life', and was a 1960 comedy-drama film written and directed by the critically acclaimed director Federico Fellini.
The movie was a story of a passive journalist's week in Rome, and his search for both happiness and love that will never come.
It had won the Palme d'Or (Golden Palm) at the 1960 Cannes Film Festival and the Oscar for Best Costumes.
