alleged illegal arms smuggler in Munger district and recovered two automatic pistols, four magazines and 50 cartridges from him.
Munger Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Singh said the arrested persons has been identified as Mohammad Abrar of Bardah village in the district.
"Abrar was nabbed on a tip-off that he was about to supply the weapons to a trader in the district. We kept a watch on his activities and nabbed him with the pistols and bullets," Singh said.
The Additional SP pointed out that Munger has been a hub of illegal arms manufacturing and trade for the last several decades. He said the police is interrogating Abrar to ascertain his links and plans.
