Army jawan commits suicide in Jammu and Kashmir

An Army jawan today committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Grenadier Satish Chander shot himself dead with his service rifle in Dhanni Dhar area of Rajouri district today, a senior police officer said.
Chander was found dead at 0605 hours today. A court of inquiry has been ordered into the incident, a defence spokesperson said.
On Sunday, another army jawan had shot dead his two seniors, including a Junior Commissioned Officer, before committing suicide at a forward post along Line of Control in Poonch district of the state.
