Attending the 544th birth anniversary celebration of Guru Nanak at Gurudwara Saheb, Naharlagun near here Singh exhorted them to maintain the spirit of sacrifice and community service and help the other people.
Joined by a large number of people from the Sikh and other communities, the governor participated in the Shabad Kirtan and Anand Saheb Path organized on the occasion, a Raj Bhawan comminique said.
Extending the 'Guru Nanak' Jayanti greetings, the governor emphasized that true Sikh is the one, who is a good human being and live by the path propounded by the Gurus.
