Arunachal governor congratulates weightlifters

Weightlifters from Arunachal won three gold and silver in the championship representing the Indian contingent.

While Jimjang Deru won gold in 50-kg category yesterday, Soram Tagru and Kojum Taba both won two gold medals in 62-kg category and Sambu Lapang (69-kg) won a silver today.

"This is a very proud moment for all Arunachalees that our boys have brought laurels to the country," the Governor said in a statement.
