At a time when the Congress finds itself facing reverses on all sides, senior leader Digvijay Singh today hoped that the party would get going as the going gets tough for it.
"... As saying goes 'Tough get going when the going gets Tough'. This is where great challenge is for Congress leadership and workers," Singh said in a series of tweets today as he drew attention to Congress's plight post the division of Andhra Pradesh.
"Have the People of AP been Fair to Congress? We didn't get the benefit in Telangana and got totally routed in AP.
"BJP promised Two States for one Vote(.) Chandra Babu takes credit in Telengana & blames Congress in AP. YSR does the same. Congress is punished," Singh said on twitter.Com.
He said he rued how the people of AP punished Congress for the bifurcation of their state "although Congress was the last Party to agree for bifurcation and rewarded TDP/YSR/BJP".
Singh, who is in charge of party affairs for AP and Telangana, said AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was "taking undue credit" for the creation of Telangana through his statements made in Warangal.
"Would Chandrababu Naidu make the same statement in AP? He is learning fast to speak in Forked Tongue from BJP, Masters of Double Speak.', he said in a dig at BJP.
TDP is part of the BJP-led NDA.
