At least 20 persons injured in bus accident

At least 20 persons were injured today, two of them seriously, when a bus carrying them rammed into a tree near a village under Kako police station area in Bihar's Jehanabad district, an official said.
The mishap took place near Gandhar Math village as a bus carrying scores of villagers for funeral of a body lost control and rammed into a tree allegedly due to negligence of the driver, the Sub-Divisional Officer Nawal Kishore Chaudhary said.
At least 20 occupants of the ill-fated bus suffered injuries, he said adding that the injured persons were brought to Sadar hospital for treatment where the attending doctors two serious injured persons to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in the state capital.
