Australia were 174-4 in their second innings at tea on Day 4 of the third cricket Test at the MCG, here today.
The hosts lead by 239 with six wickets still remaining in their hand. Shaun Marsh (15) and Joe Burns (8) were at the crease at the break.
Earlier in the morning, India's first innings folded for 465 in 128.5 overs.
