The meeting held under Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, was attended by Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue), Additional Chief Secretary (I and PH), Principal Secretary (MPP and Power), Director Urban Development, Director Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Shimla, Engineer-in-Chief( I and PH) and other senior officers of the State Government.
It was felt that situation was normal as no report of non-availability of drinking water has been reported from any part of the state.
The Urban local department and Rural Development department were also directed to keep a close watch on the situation while the HPSEB was urged to ensure uninterrupted power supply and maintain voltage so that pumping of water for drinking purpose was not affected.
