Azam's allegation unjustified: Naik

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today refused to be drawn into row stirred by Azam Khan's letter in which the minister has alleged that Naik's "negative views" about him were generating fear among minorities, saying issues raised by him were not justified.
"I have received the letter. The issues raised by him are not justified. I will not make any other comment," Naik told reporters on sidelines of a function here.
Khan had written a letter to Governor Naik on February 11 alleging that his "continued negative" approach towards him has created fear among Muslims.
"The continued negative views expressed by you against me have led to a lot of fear among the weak, minority community, especially Muslims, as they believe that I myself and Muslim society might be harmed because of it," Khan said in a four-page letter sent to Raj Bhawan.

When asked about Khan's initiative to make a temple for Mulayam Singh Yadav, Naik said, "he will reply on it"
"As far as Prime Minister Narendra Modi's temple is concerned, he has expressed anguish over it," he added.

Commenting over law and order situation in the state, Naik said, "I have talked with Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on the issue. He feels that there is need for improvements in it. I know Constitution and my responsibilities and limited too."
Speaking about the ongoing row in Bihar, Naik said Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi was an intelligent person and he knew the law.

"He will decide on the basis of Constitution," Naik said justifying Tripathi's decision of seeking trust vote.
