"Whereas reliable information has been placed before me that certain groups are trying to create disturbances affecting public peace and order in Hyderabad City, inciting communal animosity between different communities in connection with the anniversary of demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya on December 6," Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahendar Reddy said.
The prohibitory orders, to be in force from 6 AM tomorrow till 6 AM on December 7, are to maintain public order, peace and tranquility in the city, he said.
As per the orders, no individual/groups of individuals can make any speech, gesture or display pictures, symbols, placards, flags etc., which are likely to create religious animosity or hatred between different communities or individuals or are likely to cause disturbance to the public peace and order in the city limits.
