The baby, G Vishnu Wardhan Kumar, was playing at home in Potharam(S) village under Husnabad police limits, nearly 50 kms from here.
At around 8 AM, he fell into the tub, kept to provide drinking water to cattle, when his parents were busy with their work, Husnabad circle inspector P Sadan Kumar said.
Later, his parents found him inside the tub and immediately took him out, but by that time the baby had died of drowning, he added.
