The Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia grant of Rs one lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased and directed state administration to provide free treatment to all the injured coming to the state, officials said.
Inspector General of Police Rakesh Chandra has been deputed to immediately visit the site of accident to oversee the ongoing relief and rescue operation besides ensuring proper coordination with the Himachal Pradesh administration to extend all possible help to the members of the bereaved families.
Expressing grief and sorrow over this accident, the Chief Minister shared sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give them courage to bear this irreparable loss in the hour of crisis and grant peace to the departed souls.
