A ball tapping record was set just before the final of the Pune ATP Challenger here today as 367 tennis players and coaches tapped the ball at the same time for 20 seconds without dropping the ball.
The feat went in the Limca Book of Records.
MSLTA secretary Sunder Iyer said they were inspired by a world record set during China Open on September 5.
"814 participants had gathered and 767 of them successfully tapped the ball without dropping for 10 seconds. None of our people dropped the ball and we did it for 20 seconds. We will try to break that world record in future, Iyer said.
All the participants were given certificates in presence of Limca Book of Records official VVR Murty.
