Barracks for 240 BSF personnel inaugurated in G Noida

A barrack accommodation for 240 BSF jawans, undertaking anti-Naxal operations in Chhattisgarh and Odisha, was today inaugurated at the forces' camp here.
BSF Director General K K Sharma opened up the new 19-acre facility for his troops in the 'Knowledge Park V' area here which also houses the BSF's Central Region Frontier Headquarters.
Officials said the new barracks can accommodate 240 troops and those deployed for anti-Maoist operations in states like Chhattsigarh and Odisha will be utilising them.
The latest facility is one of the largest of the border guarding force in and around the national capital region, they said.
