The 30-year-old singer said when she started in the music industry her first producer made her listen to Jackson's track "Who's Loving You" on repeat for hours, reported Contactmusic.
"What he wanted me to learn was his soul. You could hear his soul. And he was a little kid who hadn't experienced love but he was a vessel. For whatever reason he could evoke more emotional than an adult," she posted on her website.
The 'Single Ladies' hitmaker, who recently gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy with rapper husband Jay-Z, said, "Jackson's entertaining ability was not something that could be learned.
"It was so raw and pure. It was these things that he did that was just swag. It's something that's God given."
Jackson died on June 25, 2009 in his Los Angeles home due to an overdose on the prescription drug, Propofol.
