Former Bihar Assembly Speaker Udai Narayan Chaudhary and former ministers Damodar Raut and Dulal Chand Goswami today made it to the restructured state JD(U) committee, while the former spokesman in the previous team, Ajay Alok, was conspicuous by his absence.
No senior party leader officially spoke about Alok's omission from the panel.
When contacted, Alok told PTI, "I am thankful to the party for giving me the opportunity to serve as a spokesman. I do not know about the absence of my name from the new panel. It may be due to giving opportunity to others."
