A motorcycle-rider was killed in a freak mishap in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra Wednesday evening, police said.
The deceased was identified as Raju Shrawan Dhangar (43), resident of Varangaon tehsil.
The incident took place around 5 pm when Dhangar was on his way home to Varangaon from Asoda in the district.
He got crushed in between as a car and truck collided head-on on the outskirts of Bhusawal, police said.
The driver and passengers in the car were injured severely and being treated at a private hospital, while the truck driver was yet to be arrested.
Police sub-inspector K T Suralkar said that Dhangar's body was shifted to the Primary Health Centre at Varangaon.
