BJP celebrates buirth day of Narendra Modi

Puducherry unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party today celebrated the 66th birth day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by launching Swachch Bharath Abhiyan programmes at various centres.
A release from president of local unit of the party V Saminathan said that volunteers and leaders of the party's different wings held special prayers at various shrines and places of worship seeking divine blessings for the Prime Minister.
Distribution of sweet packts and launching of various welfare schemes marked the celebration of the birth day of the Prime Minister, the release said.
