Expressing serious concern over the outbreak of seasonal diseases in Rajasthan, Congress leader Sachin Pilot accused the BJP government of failing to arrest the spread of dengue in the state.
"It is unfortunate...A BJP MLA revealed that dengue claimed 30 lives in last six months in Jhunjhunu district alone, and medical and health departments are constantly denying casualties," Pilot said in a statement.
Even the BJP MP from Jhunjhunu has posed a question to the chief medical and health officer on careless attitude of medical and health departments, Pilot said.
Health and medical departments, and civic bodies are lacking fogging equipment and chemicals nor the state government is providing free medicines to patients, he said.
