"All ministers have to submit decisions taken by (respective) departments in the last three months to the Chief Minister's Office," Industries Minister Subhash Desai said, adding, the report card has to be submitted within next two days.
When asked if the instructions to submit a report of progress have been given on the lines of the Prime Minister's Office, Desai said, "You could (say) that.. To put it simply, it can be termed as a progress card of each ministry."
"A consolidated report will be published on February 7. The ministers have asked to state major decisions taken by their ministries, which has had an impact on industrial and developmental growth of the state. The chief minister is very serious about the 'Make in Maharashtra' mission," he said.
The official said as the BJP government won a massive mandate on the back of a development agenda last year, the CM now expects his cabinet colleagues to take decisions with the same vigour.
Food and Civil Supply department is planning to introduce biometric system in its department.
The General Administration department has introduced Right to Service bill and is in the process of taking suggestions from people whereas Tribal Development Department is keen to restructure tribal schools and ashram shalas.
