Peeved over Lalu Prasad's 'outrageous' remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah, BJP today moved the Election Commission seeking strict action against the RJD supremo.
"We have submitted a memorandum to the CEC seeking removal of Lalu Prasad as the chief of RJD, and at the same time de-recognize the party," said Kuldeep Pati Tripathi, the legal and admin cell in-charge of BJP's Uttar Pradesh unit.
While referring to Modi's mannerisms at election rallies, Lalu had yesterday used a derogatory term and said the Prime Minister engaged in "empty talk".
