District judge Shahikant Pandey acquitted Yadav and three other accused, giving them benefit of doubt.
The prosecution case dates back to August 12, 2009, when one Abdurehman was killed and a few others were injured in a firing between Ulema Council members and Yadav's supporters in Phulpur area.
The national president of the Ulema Council, Maulana Amir Rushdee, had filed an FIR against Yadav and a few others, leading to the MP's arrest on August 26, 2010, prosecution sources said.
