BJP alleged that Sharma during the Panchayati Raj elections, had voted from the Rakkar Panchayat of Dharamsala sub-division.
Rakkar has not been included inthe newly constituted Dharamsala Municipal Corporation.
Sharma said, "As my name is there in the voters' list, I voted."
Sarvan, SDM Dharamsala, who is also the election officer for Corporation elections said, "The Electoral Roll was prepared using the data of Election Commission of India for assembly election. These booth wise voter lists were divided into wards after field verification through the authorised officers. Three stage objections were called/invited against any entry or error and the objections were disposed of and voter list finalised.
