The nomination of BJP candidate from Saoner constituency in Nagpur district, Sonba Musale has been rejected, official sources said today.
Musale, who is government contractor in the PWD department did mention in his affidavit about his contractor-ship which was a sufficient ground for rejection.
An independent-- Manish Mohod-- objected to this which was considered during the scrutiny of nomination papers yesterday.
However, the Assistant Returning Officer postponed the decision till this morning and finally rejected Musale's nomination after careful study, sources said.
With this, there will be no BJP candidate in Saoner where Congress has again fielded Sunil Kedar.
