"The movement for change has started in Bihar in which BJP and NDA are participating together. Our party president Amit Shah launched it by giving green signal to 200 'Parivartan Rath' (chariots of change). We are now going to launch four Parivartan Yatras to cover the entire state this month," Union Chemical and Fertiliser Minister Ananth Kumar said.
Kumar, who is also Bihar in-charge of BJP for Assembly elections said these yatras will be launched on August 12 and will continue till August 28.
They will traverse the entire state and visit all 243 constituencies conducting public meetings, establishing direct connect with the voters and appealing to them "to give the mandate of change to BJP and NDA, as well as, opportunity of good governance," he said.
"Our campaign will be positive and we will raise the issue related to welfare, development, agriculture and employment of the people of Bihar. We will also tell about the work done by the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he added.
The Union Minister said the first yatra will begin from the revered 'Harihar Kshetra' at Sonepur in Saran district. It will be led by senior state BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, and will cover Tirhut - Saran region of the state.
The second yatra will be led by Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav. It will cover Begusarai - Bhagalpur region. Lok Sabha members Ashwini Kumar Chaubey and Ajay Nishad will be a part of it.
