BJP Udumalpet town secretary killed in mishap

BJP's Udumplet secretary of Ramu and his friend have been killed in an accident involving his car and van at Kondampatti in nearby Tirupur district, police said today.
Ramu and Naveen were returning to Udumalpet when a speeding van collided head on with the car, killing both on the spot, police said today.
The van driver, Arulmurthy who sustained serious injuries, was admitted to the Government Hospital.
