BJP workers gherao police station

Led by MLA Menka Sardar and district committee president Raj Kumar Srivastav, hundreds of party workers gheraoed the police station demanding immediate arrest of culprits responsible for the killing of 50-year-old Prem Dubey, a BJP activist.

The police, however, said the incident took place following an altercation between the victim and the accused, who had consumed liquor.

Alleging that BJP workers were being deliberately targetted ever since the President
