Auto component major Bosch said on Friday it has decided to suspend manufacturing operations at its Jaipur and Bidadi plants for one day each, in order to adjust production with market demand.
"With a view to adjust production to meet the demand for products and to avoid unnecessary buildup of inventory, it is proposed to suspend all manufacturing operations at the company's plants," Bosch Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
The company' said it will suspend production at its Jaipur-based plant for one day on July 27 and at the Bidadi (Karnataka) facility on July 29.
In India, Bosch is a leading supplier of technology and services in the areas of mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods, energy and building technology.
Bosch shares ended 0.09 per cent up at Rs 15,020.95 apiece on the BSE.
