He uploaded a photo on Instagram, hinting that the superhero movie would come very soon, following the news that the film was scheduled for reshoots, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Back in the cutting room with #johnottman teaser coming soon," read the caption of the photo.
The picture captures Singer with editor/composer John Ottman in a room along with some pictures on the wall which appear to be breakdowns of the cuts for the teaser.
In the upcoming film, the newly-unleashed villain, Apocalypse, is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants to cleanse mankind and create a new world order.
The movie brings back Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Evan Peters as Quicksilver and Lucas Till as Havok with Oscar Isaac and Nicholas Hoult also starring.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" is scheduled to arrive in the US on May 27, 2016.
