BSF constable's wife dies of burn injuries
Press Trust of India Srinagar Wife of a BSF constable today died after sustaining burn injuries while filling kerosene in the cooking heater.
The victim, wife of constable S K Jena who is attached with BSF officers mess at Panthachowk, was rushed to the 92 Base Hospital of Army at Badamibagh where she succumbed to her wounds, police said.
The mishap took place at Jena's residential quarters, police said, adding a case into the matter has been registered and investigations are on.
Meanwhile, a 32-year-old man died after he slipped into a quarry while extracting stones at Khorpora in Kupwara district.
Sheikh was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
