After an eight-day whirwind tour to the state, the team called on the home minister here Saturday evening to apprise him of the difficulties faced by BSNL in providing effective service in this land-locked state, a communique informed here today.
Byaling sought the support of BSNL authorities for improving services in remote and rural areas of the state while assuring all support to the telecom service provider.
The team comprising Shillong-based NE-I circle CGM D P Singh, Dimapur-based NE-II circle CGM T Durga Prashad, DGM Arung Siram, SE(E) Mara Kocho and Telecom Advisory Committee member Tungri Effa, visited Changlang, Namsai, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, East Siang, West Siang, Upper Subansiri and Lower Subansiri districts, the communique said.
