Bullet riddled body recovered in Assam

Body of an unidentified male with bullet wound was receovered today at Lesubari area in Jorhat district, a senior police officer said.
The body of a 45-year old man with a bullet injury near his ear was found on the road to Sooteagaon near Nimona Tea Estate here, district superintendent of police Sanjukta Parasher told PTI.
The person was suspected to have died after midnight last night, Parasher said.
The identity of the person was yet to be ascertained.
Investigations were on, she said.
