arrested on charge of firing at a businessman and seriously injuring him, police said.
The businessman Sitaram Sahu of Golbazar here was seriously injured after being shot at by three persons last night, Additional SP, Sambalpur, Dilip Kumar Deo said.
The trio came to the shop of Sahu and fired five rounds before escaping leaving a mouser on the spot.
Sahu was now undergoing treatment at the VSS Medical College at Burla and his condition was stated to be stable.
Police arrested two of the attackers who belonged to the same locality at Jharsuguda today.
The arrested were identified as Badri Mahato and Asis Singh, Deo said adding effort was on to nab the other accused involved in the incident.
Meanwhile, in protest against the incident, businessmen of Golbazar, the main market of the town, downed their shutters for the day.
They also demonstrated in front of the SP's office last night.
