A bamboo garden, a fruit garden and a tea garden besides a unique mask garden were also inaugurated.
The mask garden featured masks from different countries and states.
Bankura horses, terracotta items and chhou masks made by artisans in the state would be sold at the 'Biswa Banga Haat' which was also thrown open.
An eco-island has been developed in the park's lake which would be available for hosting parties.
The foundation stone of a wax museum was also laid. The Park, a dream project of Banerjee was opened in December last year, offering boating, kayaking and zorbing or the sport of rolling downhill inside an orb, generally made of transparent plastic.
A children's park was opened later.
Spread over 480 acre, including a 100-acre lake, the park was developed by the Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation, the first of its kind in the city.
