The gig came on the heels of her role as Miss Hannigan in 'Annie', which hits theaters on December 19, reported Ace Showbiz.
This would be the 42-year-old actress' fourth time leading the variety show after hosting in 1998, 2002 and 2005.
She also appeared occasionally including the time she introduced then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake as a musical performer in 2006.

Mars and Ronson collaborated in the latter's hit 'Uptown Funk'. Mars had hosted the show previously.
