According to the meteorological department, the minimum temperature was recorded at two notches above normal at 14.8 degrees Celsius today, while the maximum temperature settled five notches below the season's average at 22.1 degrees.
The Safdarjung observatory, considered the official reading for the city, recorded 60.4 mm rainfall till 5.30 PM while the areas under Lodhi Road, Ridge, Ayanagar and Palam received 66 mm, 76.6 mm, 42.4 mm and 57.9 mm rain respectively.
MeT has predicted light rains for tomorrow.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy. Light rain or thundershowers could occur in some areas till noon. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 22 and 13 degrees Celsius," said the MeT forecast.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius while minimum was 15.2 degrees.
