Cardamom prices rose by 0.44% to Rs 678.10 per kg in futures trade today after speculators enlarged positions supported by good buying in the spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for January contracts rose by Rs 3, or 0.44%, to Rs 678.10 per kg, with a trading volume of 149 lots.

The spice for delivery in February was trading up by Rs 2.70, or 0.38%, to Rs 706 per kg, with a business volume of 27 lots.
