Case against man for posting 'objectionable' photo of woman

Police have registered a case against a man on charges of posting an objectionable photo of a woman on a social networking site.
According to SHO Sanjiv Gupta, a case under the IT Act was registered against the accused yesterday.
The woman, who works at a nationalised bank, had filed a complaint with the National Commission for Women and alleged that her college batchmate Amit Kumar had been harassing herby posting one of her photos on Facebook, and also made an offensive phone call.
Police have started investigation in connection with the case.
