"It was an attempt to divert people's attention from the issues connected with the killing," he told reporters here.
He reiterated that the video of CPI(M) workers 'celebrating' the killing of RSS worker Biju, that he posted on Facebook , was original and not a fake one.
Rajasekharan said he would face the case legally and go to any lengths to see that he gets justice.
Biju was hacked to death at Payyanur town in Kannur district, which has witnessed a series of clashes between ruling CPI(M) and the RSS for the past one year.
He was an accused in a case relating to the killing of a CPI(M) worker in 2016.
He was out on bail when he was killed.
The CPI(M) has rejected Rajasekharan's charge and alleged that the BJP leader was trying to add fuel to the fire.
