An officer at Versova police station said that Bhaskar Patel's educationist son Bhargav Patel's vehicle was parked below Magnum Opus society, when an unidentified person allegedly threw a heavy gunny bag on the vehicle from the terrace of the four-storey building, damaging the rear glasses of the vehicle.
No one witnessed the incident, though a non-cognisable offence has been registered against an unidentified person, but the complainant mentioned Pancholi's name as a suspect in his statement.
The police said that earlier, Pancholi had allegedly assaulted Bhasker's son after a minor dispute and the latter had filed a case against the actor at Versova police station.
